I saw green swirly lights in the dark last night?

After i went to bed last night i saw in the hallway 2 really bright green lights swirling around each other and moving down the hallwasy closer and closer to my bedroom until i got freaked out and turned the light on. What on earth were they? p.s dnt live near a road so was not car lights or summit like that. Im also not on any drugs.
