Effects of mixing alcohol with Ceftin(antibiotic)?

I am on a two week course of ceftin (general antibiotic) because I had surgery its in case of an infection. I am drinking beer tonight with some friends and am wondering what the effects are. I have always heard don't mix antibiotics with booze.
