England is known for drunken violence in city centres at weekend nights, but do tourists ever get attacked or?

First of all,don't generalize England like that,drunken violence in city centers happens everywhere,especially here in Ireland where we are sterotyped anyway for it. Tourists are smart,in open spaces with lots of people,they can avoid fights,they are aware of the new surroundings etc. Its usually other revellers that are involved in fights,the revellers can be from within the group on the night out or a random stranger from a few streets down the road. Drunken violence is inevitable and scummy and pointless and inbred behavior.
