HELP WITH MY IPOD TOUCH!!!! PLEASE?!?!?

Well my ipod touch 4g ied and its did that swirly thing it does when its about to die but i plugged it in the charger as it was doing the swirly thing an its been dooing the swirly thing ofr like 10 min now.......HELP
